Yorkdale (...and so it begins)

Dave recently accused me of being a transit geek. In order to prove him right, I will inaugurate my epic relocation to Toronto from parts ultra-suburban by attempting to vist all 69 TTC subway stations during my first year as a Torontonian.

Armed with my trusty TTC Subway Rider Efficiency Guide, I will collect a transfer from each station and blog my progress by scanning and posting 'em. I might comment occasionally or relate witty, heartwarming-slash-horrifying anectodes; I am, however, extremely lazy, so dont' count on it.

The clock started ticking at 2:49PM, July 28/2005 and so I've dated this post accordingly. I've hit six stations so far (well, nine really, but I lost my Main Street, Queen's Park and St. George transfers, so they each require a do-over) and will post those -- backdated, of course -- as soon as I can retrieve my scanner from the now-vacated Parent's Basement.

Edit: Instead of scanning, I've opted for ye olde cameraphone.
